Hilary HagarPolicy Analyst | Analyste de politiques

A recent graduate from the University of Guelph with a B.A. (Hons) in International Development, Hilary values interdisciplinary approaches and is passionate about community economic development and poverty alleviation. During her undergraduate degree, Hilary completed participatory research in both Cuba and Bolivia. Closer to home, Hilary has also contributed policy debates on issues ranging from greenhouse gas emissions in Ontario agriculture to Inuit nutrition and health.

Diplômée récente de l’Université de Guelph, soit un baccalauréat spécialisé en développement international, Hilary apprécie les approches interdisciplinaires et se passionne pour le développement économique communautaire ainsi que la réduction de la pauvreté. Pendant ses études de premier cycle, Hilary a réalisé de la recherche participative à Cuba et en Bolivie. Plus près de chez elle, Hilary a également participé à des débats sur divers points, depuis les émissions de gaz à effet de serre dans le domaine agricole en Ontario, jusqu’à la nutrition et à la santé des Inuits.

Ryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He also completed his MBA in Global Management. Ryan joined LOWBIC as the Executive Director in early 2006. Ryan has had a significant impact at LOWBIC. Ryan has also served as President of the Northwestern Ontario Development Network (NODN) and is currently Chair of the Northwest CFDC Network
